The "It Gets Better" project continues to get a rich and diverse collection of voices to support GLBT youth with a new video from 13 Democratic senators. In a post on her 2chambers blog, Felicia Sonmez says the senators, as led by Sen. Chris Coons of Delaware, released the video this morning during a news conference.

The full list of senators (as listed in the video credits) includes: Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.), Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio), Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.), Chris Coons (D-Del.), Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), Al Franken (D-Minn.), Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.), Mark Udall (D-Colo.), Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.), and Ron Wyden (D-Ore.).

And Sonmez points out:

All 13 are among the 25 co-sponsors of the Respect for Marriage Act, which was introduced by Feinstein in March and which would repeal the Defense of Marriage Act.
