Sen. Durbin says August 2nd debt deadline could be a disaster

Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill.

Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill. spoke to us from Capitol Hill this morning, and he said: "If we reached an agreement, in theory, tomorrow, it would take the Congressional Budget Office and the Office of Management and Budgeting at least 10 days to put it on paper. We have a deadline of August 2. As of August 2, if the debt ceiling is not extended, we will see a dramatic negative impact on America and the global economy."
