A new Iowa State University/Gazette/KCRG poll has Ron Paul in the lead in Iowa with 27.5 of likely voters supporting him. But a rise in the polls also means increased scrutiny, and the panel discusses why Paul may have to answer to questionable past newsletters written in his name.

Right around the time when it looked like Barack Obama was going to win in the spring of 2008 he said it was their time in the barrel now. Rev. Jeremiah Wright happened. And when it looks like you’re rising, that’s when your time in the barrel comes, and you start getting shot at like you’re a fish in there, and that’s what’s happening to Ron Paul right now.”
