Usually on Fridays our man Willie recaps the week that was, but things here on Morning Joe were a bit different this week.
We did our best to cover as much of London (and a side trip to Paris) as we could in a few short days. So rather than count down the top three news and pop culture stories of the week, here on the blog we're giving you something of a "best of" our coverage.
We managed to cover a lot of disparate subjects this week -- from the reports of the British GDP growing only 0.5 percent in the first quarter of 2011 to President Obama releasing his long-form birth certificate and the powerful series of storms that devastated Alabama and other areas of the South. And yes, we may have also covered that small affair known as the royal wedding.
We even got a quick glimpse of Prince Harry.
