The Romney campaign announced this morning that Mitt will announce his long-awaited choice for a VP candidate via smartphone.
Romney’s website reads: “There’s no telling when Mitt will choose his VP. But when he does, be the first to find out with Mitt’s VP app. Share with friends and earn exclusive campaign gear.”
The app is free, and is available on iPhones and Androids.
So far, “Mitt’s VP” looks more promising than Romney’s first stab at a campaign app – back in May, the campaign launched an iPhone photo application with a major misspelling.
“When Mitt decides on his running mate,” the App Store for iPhone description reads, “...you’ll get an exclusive notification from the campaign letting you in on the exciting news before the press and just about everyone else (except maybe Ann).”
So who will Romney pick? If you're like many wondering if it's Rob Portman, Chris Christie, Kelly Ayotte, Tim Pawlenty or one of the many other names being bandied about, now you know how the world will first find out.
Word is he may do it before the RNC, so get them devices charged.
