Morning Joe looks at the 10,000 Small Businesses program

The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program is a $500 million investment to help small businesses create jobs and economic opportunity by providing them with greater access to business education, financial capital, and business support services. Today Morning Joe took a look at the program with Goldman CEO Lloyd Blankfein and program co-Chair CEO Warren Buffett as well as with graduates from the program.

Goldman Sachs CEO and chairman Lloyd Blankfein explains the purpose of the company’s “10,000 Small Businesses” program, calling its graduates “spectacular.” Warren Buffett joins the conversation to discuss the impact of small businesses and entrepreneurs and Danielle Hrzic of Gourmet Gorilla, Inc. talks about the success of her company, which promotes healthy food in schools.

The National Urban League’s Marc Morial and small business owner Dennis Deer discuss the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program, which helps small businesses succeed. Deer’s business, Deer Rehabilitation Services, provides substance abuse and domestic violence services in Chicago.
