John Kerry engages in Twitter chat about Nigeria

Secretary of State John Kerry participated in a Twitter chat on Friday to answer questions about the United States’ involvement in the African country.

Secretary of State John Kerry participated in a Twitter chat on Friday, and he answered questions about the United States’ involvement in the search for nearly 300 missing schoolgirls in Nigeria. The online discussion took place just hours after a group of U.S. advisers arrived in Africa’s most populous state to provide help. Earlier in the week, Kerry offered aid to Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan to help find the teenage girls who were taken three weeks ago by the Islamist militant group Boko Haram.
