Former Gov. Pataki: I hope GOP holds tough on taxes

Former Gov. George Pataki, R-N.Y: "I think there has to be a deal. I just hope the Republicans hold tough on taxes; because the problem is not that we need to raise taxes on those who are trying to create jobs. We need to undo the massive spending binge that we've seen in the last two-and-a-half years. I think the president needs a deal; he can't have a government shut down. He can’t have the country threatening default, so Republicans should stick to their guns. I think we can get a lot of entitlement reform, spending reductions and take a major step forward."
