Ezra Klein on why this is a 'frustrating' deficit deal

Ezra Klein, Washington Post: "What I find incredibly frustrating about the bill is that it manages to not do either thing that we need it to do. It doesn’t do the real, long-term deficit reduction; it kicks almost all those hard decisions down. And at the same time, there’s no unemployment insurance in there, no payroll tax cut in there. There’s no support for an economy, a recovery that is really weak right now. So we could’ve done something that did more now and more later, and instead we’re doing nothing now and not enough later. It’s pretty frustrating."
