Andy Borowitz: I have Pulp and Olivia Newton-John on my iPod

Updated

I had the chance to talk with satirist and author Andy Borowitz yesterday just a few minutes after his interview on the show. I guess I felt like before I let him leave the building, there was more the world needed to know about Borowitz. And namely, the world needed to know about what was on his iPod and what it was like to be a fill-in radio host.

For those of you who don’t live in New York (it’s ok, I live in Jersey City, so I feel you) and are unfamiliar with the NPR station for New York, WNYC, Andy sometimes fills in for a gentleman named Leonard Lopate. (Full disclosure: Not long ago, I lent my services to Leonard’s show for a spell.) Leonard hosts a daily two-hour program of interviews. He sometimes goes on vacation, and sometimes Andy fills in in Leonard’s absence.

So, I had Andy talk about what it’s like hosting Leonard’s show and what he has on his iPod.

Thanks Andy for the fun talk.
