Adam Richman on eating a lot of salads when he’s not feasting on television

Updated

You probably know Adam Richman as the man who once gorged on a lot of insane foods on the Travel Channel’s “Man v. Food.” And now you may know him as the guy who’s traveling around the country looking for the best sandwich.

After his interview on Morning Joe, I spoke to him in the green room about what he eats when he’s not feasting on amazing things like an amazing looking lobster roll from Maine or a pulled lamb sandwich from a San Francisco joint named Wexler’s.

Turns out, no surprise, it ain’t all that interesting or delicious sounding.

But give the guy a break. He gets to eat more amazing stuff in like 10 minutes than I do in 10 years. We can forgive some bland eating in his downtime, right?

We also get into talking about this place in Manhattan’s West Village called Peanut Butter & Co., which you should probably check out if you’re ever in New York City and like eating peanut butter.

P.S. The volume is a little low for some reason, so make sure to turn it up a bit.
