In 1994, documentary photojournalist Ken Light spent 21 days photographing more than 100 inmates on Texas’ death row. He captured a rare look into the faces and lives of doomed, forgotten men. His access among the inmates culminated in the book Texas Death Row and an attempt to look beyond the criminal.
