The German TV producers were a delight to work with. A lot of the filming (several hours worth) was done outside. At one point, they asked me if there was a park close by. I said yes and took them there.

At this park there is a small lake. They loved it. There are tame geese, ducks and other birds (hundreds of them), they loved it! Well, these birds will come right up to you and eat out of your hand, so the producer jumps in his van and goes to the closest store to buy a loft of bread. He wants to film me feeding these ducks.

I began laughing when he returned and handed me the loaf of bread. I explained that once I began feeding these fowl, the film will look like Alfred Hitchcock's "THE BIRDS", because these hundreds of birds will go into a feeding frenzy. Well.....he did not believe me and told the camera man to begin rolling the film as I began throwing bread to the fowl. Of course hundreds of geese, ducks and other birds flapped all around my head and feet fighting over the bread. They honked and quacked wildly. I told him this would not be the little "Mary Poppins" feeding the birds kind of scene.

They kept rolling the film and one of those birds ate one of my acrylic finger nail tips! Not knowing whether the film crew was actually taking delight in this fowl feeding nightmare, I started throwing the bread at the camera man! You can imagine the birds attacking him and going crazy! The producer was laughing so hard he could barely stand up. In the end, the producer tried to wipe the bird poop off the camera man and they decided that feeding the birds did not produce the desired effects they had envisioned for this film.
