December 5, 1998 My ex husband fled the U.S. with Nadia so quickly that he left behind everything in his apartment he could not put into a suitcase...including his diary. Although written in arabic, I have had most of it translated and continue to be amazed at the things he put to print. I now know the connection between the man who has my child, Imad Madani and my ex-husband's family, the Dabbagh's. According to my ex, Imad's brother, Ali Madani, and his brother, Akrum Dabbagh as well as a third man own a furniture factory together in Syria. Although most of what my ex reveals is bascially the illegal things they get away with, I now know there is a connection between the man that abducted my child and the one who holds her captive. The diary is a very detailed and lengthy work that I imagined he poured his heart into. My ex has left me with some very interesting stories. Apparently being an international fugitive is not a big deal to him. He tells of a relative that obtained Saudi citizenship years ago by the name of Nyseb Sabai. He says the man is now old and that he is very cleaver and he admires him because he was able to smuggle diamonds through the airport by pretending he was a drunken bum in Damascus and no one would bother with him. Of importance is a notation that this man son, Hisham Sabai, will sponsor him to work in Saudi Arabia. I followed up on this, and indeed learned that this man had, in fact, sponsored my ex there. Hisham Sabai is a doctor in Saudi. My ex is apparently working at Security Forces Hospital in Riyadh. It may be that this diary could unlock the key to my daughter's captivity and the motives that would lead to such cruel and horrendous acts against a child. |
