November 17, 1998 I find it incredible that the world is responding and pouring out their support....not just individuals, but agencies too, from France, Switzerland, Belgium, Canada, the UK and I am also receiving many letters from individuals who state they are from the Middle East and want me to know that they support efforts to rescue Nadia. I find this particularly touching. I needed to know that not everyone in the Middle East hated Americans so much they took great pleasure in the torture of a small child because it was American. Went to the mall today, even though I managed to accomplish the feat, was extremely difficult and taxing.....the trip was short, yet I found myself literally panting for air.
