I received a copy of Nadia's resolution today from senator Robb's office. Like so many other documents I had worked hard to acquire, I feel this is just one more useless piece of paper. I am still receiving letters of support also, as well as other telling me to quit my hunger strike. The State Department, Division of Children's issues has not contacted me. I guess I should not be surprised.

Someone told me that their job was "to lower parent expectations". I wish I had known that years ago when they (the State Department) gave my telephone number to Mitch Rogovan in D.C. and had him lure me into a huge financial deal to get Nadia out of Syria. I must say, I was so stupid back then. I believed old' Mitch and William (Bill) Colby and their schemes and CIA connections with the Syrian attorney to get Nadia out. Now, Mitch is retired, Bill is dead , I am bankrupt and Nadia is still in Syria. So much for lowering parent expectations. I guess that is part of the reason that recovery appeals to me.

Speaking of which, I continue to get calls from agencies offering to get Nadia out. They must think I am crazy! I figure if I can go to some third world country and recover a kid, then obviously there is some reason I have not gotten my own.
