October 27, 1998 Down 18 pounds, received 15 letters of support. I am having a difficult time concentrating. My train of thought is short and I have to struggle to stay focused. I am weaker and move about slowly. I sure hope that my old body is as strong as my mental will.... I am told that Nadia's resolution will go to the Syrian ambassador. I did not want to appear rude, but it seems to me that all the effort to get the resolution is just a waste of time if that is where they intend to got with it. I was told by a US diplomat that some foreign embassies in the US have quick-lime vats they dispose of individuals. He stated that they where taught during their training as US diplomats NOT to go into foreign embassies in DC...like China and Russia. He said people where known to go in and never come out! Gee, what a horrible thought. He said that he got invited to the Saudi embassy by their lawyer. He told his lawyer and of course, the meeting never took place. I wonder if stuff like this really exists. It certainly stretches the imagination.
