October 25, 1998 I am overwhelmed by the amount of support I am receiving. Letters are arriving from all over the US from people I do not even know. They are words of encouragement and support. Parents of abducted children are calling their local media and telling them about me...gosh, people really do care. Another man who's children had been kidnapped to So. Africa wrote a song for Nadia! incredible...he called me and said he would send me a tape. This man did get his children back, but he is concerned that they will be taken again. My heart goes out to these parents and when I hear these stories each day they serve to only strengthen my resolve to continue my fast. One poor mother in California is in desperate position. A California judge ordered her child to go to Lebanon for visitation! I am sure this judge has never read the American Bar Association publications on "A Judges Guide to Risk Factors for Parental kidnapping", or any of the other publication by Justice Dept...still, they make this horrible decision and ruin lives. This is malpractice at it's worse. Judge Judith Cross of Median , OH...enabled the abduction of Nadia. I never blamed her kidnapper as much as I have her. She was repeatedly told that this man threatened to abducted Nadia. Threatened to take her from the US, and never allow us to be together again. Still, I was told to turn my child over to her kidnapper, or I would face jail! I remember trying to locate the "Underground" during that period. I never found them and Nadia is gone...thanks to Judge Cross.
