October 16, 1998 Several parents have called me expressing their concern over my decision to fast. They are supportive. I pray that 100 cases of international abduction move forward and contact between a parent an child are made during this time. I have no doubts whatsoever that I could easily achieve this myself given the budget and manpower of many missing children's agencies. However, it appears that I only have the experience and knowledge, and that alone will not move these cases forward. It is a shame the so many millions of grant dollars go wasted....
