After the hearing before Chief U.S. District Judge Norma Holloway Johnson, Lewis attorney, Billy Martin, says, Unfortunately nothing changed today. Lewis, who brought a Maryland psychiatrist to the hearing to support her argument, testified before the panel for two days in February, but was overcome near the end of the second day. After the hearing, the grand jury hears testimony from Jodie Torkelson, a former White House personnel assistant who was expected to be asked about her knowledge of Lewinskys transfer from the White House to the Pentagon in April 1996. |

Starr subpoenas documents from Jones attorneys NBC News, quoting sources close to the investigation, reports that Starr has served a subpoena on Paula Jones lawyers seeking depositions and any other materials related to four women who may have had physical relations with the president. The report says that Starr wants to know whether White House operatives may have been involved in witness tampering and whether the president may have perjured himself when he said his relationship with all four is platonic. |
