Who are the Oath Keepers?
One year after Michael Brown was fatally shot by an officer in Ferguson, Missouri, both peaceful and unrest unfolded. In the tension a group of heavily armed white civilians emerged triggering confusion and fear in the city. This group was called the Oath Keepers. A panel consisting of Paul Berry, the Washington Post’s Wesley Lowery, and the Research Director at the Safe Tennessee Project, Dr. Jonathan Metzel discuss the issue.
