NC’s District 12 left without a rep
North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory is holding off on filling the state’s 12th district seat -- just vacated by Mel Watt, until the general election in November. That leaves the seat, in a solidly Democratic, majority-minority district, without a representative for almost a year. Rev.
