People all over the world are marveling at the European Space Agency’s landing on the 67P comet, and the secrets that this mission might be unveil about the universe. From hundreds of millions of miles away, the Philae spacecraft could offer promising insights about the Big Bang, the formation of the earth and even the beginnings of life. Meanwhile, back here on earth, Pope Francis’ recent comments on evolution have gotten people talking about the big questions of science and God. Next, the shocking new report indicating that officers in the New Orleans police department “routinely” ignored cases of potential sex crimes, with follow-up efforts made in only 14 percent of reports made between 2011 and 2013.
