Melissa sounded off with Thomas Roberts this morning on both the Obama and Romney speeches yesterday in Ohio, and Republicans' "Charlie Brown" ad criticizing the President on unemployment. See the video here, and above.

We'll have a longer post later today on the President's big immigration announcement today, which will include video of his speech this afternoon. (You can view live video here, and in the embedded window below.) Here are the basics, from Michael O'Brien of msnbc.com:

The Obama administration announced on Friday that it would no longer seek the deportation of most young illegal immigrants, and would instead allow them to apply for work permits, a significant policy shift with potentially major electoral implications. The Department of Homeland Security said that, effective immediately, the government would no longer seek the deportation of illegal immigrants who were brought to the United States as children, and would allow them to apply for work permits if they meet certain criteria.

Melissa will have Jose Antonio Vargas -- Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, undocumented immigrant, and current TIME magazine cover subject -- as part of an in-depth conversation about immigration on tomorrow's show. Another story we'll be examining tomorrow is changing by the minute in Egypt, where the parliament has been dissolved and tensions are growing:

The developments, reported on the Web site of the official newspaper Al Ahram, further escalated tensions over court rulings on Thursday that invalidated modern Egypt’s first democratically elected legislature. Coming on the eve of a presidential runoff, they thrust the nation’s troubled transition to democracy since the overthrow of Hosni Mubarak last year into grave doubt.

The way some are preparing for the implications of Greece's weekend elections is downright scary, says The Washington Post's Ezra Klein.

How do we get rid of Citizens United? Slate's Lawrence Tribe has an idea.

Emily Bazelon wants accused Penn State molester Jerry Sandusky to stop the madness.

There are limits to "Stand Your Ground" laws, as The Atlantic's Ta-Nehisi Coates highlighted today.

Walls now protect New Orleans (yes, we know you've heard that one before).

Again, live video of the President's address will be below; the speech is scheduled to begin any minute now. Afterwards, we'll replace it with full video once it's available.

Update: We've added the full video of the President's remarks -- both to the nation, and to someone in the press corps who interrupted him.
