The August 30 ‘MHP’ Syllabus

This Saturday, Melissa Harris-Perry takes a look at the latest on the Sunni jihadist group ISIS, including President Obama’s remarks from Thursday’s press conference regarding a push for a regional strategy. We’ll discuss Americans fighting with ISIS, as well as those being held captive by the group. Keeping our eyes on international news, we’ll also look at Russia’s escalating aggression and the impact of US and European sanctions on the country. Read the latest here.
