We've talked about the "47 percent" tape released by Mother Jones on Monday, which features Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney making some interesting comments at a closed door fundraiser. Romney has stood by his remarks, mostly (more on that in a later post). So have his wife and several conservatives -- even if, like Rep. Allen West (really) said he could've phrased it better. His running mate has been having a tougher time of it, first calling the remark "inarticulate" and today, struggling when a local reporter pressed him on it.

The folks over at Tomorrow Magazine, run by former GOOD Magazine staffers, have responded as any disaffected millennial would: create the "We Are the 47%" Tumblr -- a send-up to the "We Are The 99%" Tumblr that went viral during the height of the Occupy Movement - the site encourages people to submit photos of themselves with quippy signage explaining why they belong to the aggrieved group.
