Over the past two years the lives of the people in Syria have been uprooted by civil war. The alleged use of chemical weapons by the Assad regime has the United States now debating whether to send missiles into the country as a punitive measure.
More than seven million people, more than a third of Syria’s population, have have fled their homes. The United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) estimates that one million of the refugees are children.
