Two female comedians outraged over the NFL’s new handbag policy produced and starred in a parody, My Purse, My Choice, striking back at the league for allowing only “small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap” to be carried into games.”

The women said they were inspired by the pervasive sports culture in their New Orleans hometown.

“We completely understand that there’s reasons, totally good reasons to have this regulation, but we are just trying to illuminate the fact it does disproportionately affects women and also just satirizing all the stuff that we carry in our purses,” Laborde said.
