"Men aren't really affected by this and we found the humor in how much this affects us,” said Colleen Allerton, who produced the video with Lauren Laborde, to MSNBC's Chris Jansing.
The women said they were inspired by the pervasive sports culture in their New Orleans hometown.
“We completely understand that there's reasons, totally good reasons to have this regulation, but we are just trying to illuminate the fact it does disproportionately affects women and also just satirizing all the stuff that we carry in our purses," Laborde said.
