A big part of the debate on entitlement spending is that Medicare costs have risen sharply along with life expectancy in the U.S. But who's most likely to celebrate their own centennial?

The latest US Census report shows that an overwhelming number of Americans over age 100 - eight in ten - are women. They're also more likely to be "white city-dwellers in the Northeast or Midwest." It's Chris' must read of the day and you can check it out here.
