Same-sex couple fights to have marriage recognized in Ohio

Jim Obergefell returned from his wedding in Maryland, to dying partner John Arthur—to learn the pair couldn’t keep burial plots together in the Ohio cemetery where spouses are buried alongside one another.  He launched a legal battle against the state and won a temporary injunction, which is set to expire August 5.
