Scott Brown wants your vote…and he’s even willing to overlook the small detail of you living within his state.
The New Hampshire Senate candidate commented during a radio interview that even supporters from outside the Granite State should “come on down” and vote for him anyway.
“They can come over and do same-day registration and say they want to come down and vote,” Brown said. ”If they feel compelled to do so, come on down!”
A spokesperson for the Brown campaign later said the Republican candidate was “clearly joking”. Brown formerly served as the Massachusetts Senator before losing to Elizabeth Warren in 2012. He has since relocated to New Hampshire, where he is currently seeking the Senate seat there against Democrat Sen. Jeanne Shaheen. The latest numbers from HuffPost Pollster has Brown trailing Shaheen by five.
