Rubio explains it all: From politics to pigskin

Senator Marco Rubio is putting his game face on…in more ways than one.  The Republican presidential candidate is gearing up for this week’s GOP debate at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library by fielding questions about the NFL and his presidential competitors…all while tossing around a football.

The Florida senator knows a thing or two about the gridiron, having played as a wide receiver and defensive end one season for Tarkio College.  Rubio then transferred to the University of Florida and now shares a healthy rivalry in his office with staff who attended Florida State University.  Take a look at the picture he posted on Twitter of the interoffice hijinx.

But Rubio hasn’t always had such a loving relationship with the game.  Last month a viral video showed him accidentally hitting a young boy in the head while tossing around a football during his visit to Des Moines.  So in the end, maybe Marco Rubio should stick to politics instead of the pigskin!
