The Republican National Committee is getting digital with their swipes at the president's State of the Union address.
In a tweet on Tuesday morning, the RNC claimed to have lifted a draft of President Obama's speech, which linked to a PDF document of a fictional speech.
The fake draft contains Microsoft Word tracked changes that criticizes the president's record.
Alongside the line "Poverty is at record highs. And income inequality is too great" is a comment that reads, "We've been in charge for 5 years ... is this smart?"
"Um, Constitution?" says another comment next to the line "And if Congress won't act. I will."
The document also contains references to the 2012 attack in Benghazi, Libya, the IRS, and Guantanamo Bay, along with lines repeated from previous years with commentary about Obama copying and pasting promises in his speeches each year.
"Come on guys, anything new here?!" a comment reads.
The right is expected to deliver at least four responses to the president's speech Tuesday night, with the official Republican response delivered by Washington Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers. Utah Sen. Mike Lee is expected to give the tea party response, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul will deliver his own speech online, and Florida Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen will deliver a response in Spanish that will air on CNN and Telemundo Univision.
