Quinnipiac: Americans on U.S. action in Iraq

Even though former Vice President Dick Cheney and his daughter, Liz,  continue to defend the U.S. invasion of Iraq , Quinnipiac polling shows Americans are not convinced.

58% of voters think President Obama’s decision to pull all U.S. troops out of Iraq in 2011 was the right thing to do.

Additionally, 61% of voters think that it was wrong for the U.S. to go into Iraq in 2003.

When asked about how the US should respond to the current turbulent situation in Iraq, 63% of voters oppose going back into the country.
