GO CALL THE POLICE, GO CALL THE GOVERNOR: The wheels on the Chris Christie story keep turning as the investigation gets more and more complicated. As we discussed on Hardball last night, there seems to be a battle between the Christie administration and investigators. On Tuesday, two former Christie aides refused to provide supboenaed materials to the panel investigating the George Washington Bridge lane closures. At the same time, reports have surfaced that the Port Authority police union and its leaders are also under investigation for enforcing the lane closures and directing blame toward the Fort Lee mayor. 

ANOTHER GOP GOV. INVESTIGATION: Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker could see his 2016 hopes going the way of Chris Christie’s…the Washington Post reports that Walker is currently facing the fallout of two criminal investigations–one of which is closed with no allegations of wrongdoing by the governor–that deal with his time before he was governor, when he was a Milwaukee County executive.
