Talks between President Obama and House Speaker John Boehner are heating up, but the big question among White House officials is whether  Boehner can get enough votes from rank-and-file Republicans to seal a deal to avoid the fiscal cliff. Will the GOP settle for a small deal on taxes now and use the debt limit issue so they can get entitlement cuts later?
