Diane Lane has been cast to play Hillary Clinton in a four-part biographical mini-series set to debut on NBC prior to the 2016 election. The series will span the former senator’s career from 1998 through her time as Secretary of State and will include her 2008 campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination.

The project will be written and directed by Courtney Hunt, best known for her 2008 film, “Frozen River”.

While the part of Bill Clinton has yet to be cast, The Washington Post’s “Reliable Source” blog put forth some suggestions for the role. Here are a few of their possibilities:

Jeff Bridges: The legendary “Big Lebowski” actor could probably pull this off since Bill Clinton is a lot like “the dude”, but at age 63, he’s probably too old to play the former President 15 years younger.

Billy Bob Thornton: Thornton has experience playing politicians, both as the James Carville-inspired character in “Primary Colors” and as the US President in “Love Actually.”

Woody Harrelson: A proven and versatile actor, who’s also a Washington favorite after “Game Change” last year. Just imagine more hair.

Josh Brolin: The star of “W” would probably have awkward on-screen chemistry with Lane considering their real-life split this year—but that may  just do the trick.

Who would you like to see as Former President Clinton?
