Mitt Romney could lock up the Republican nomination this week, but a group of Christian conservatives are making a last-ditch effort to rally behind Rick Santorum, a Christian and arguably more conservative alternative. Are they too late? Plus, some attendees reportedly say the vote was rigged! We’ll get to the bottom of it with Family Research Council President Tony Perkins, who attended the weekend summit, and Pastor Jim Garlow.  

 

Ted Koppel, NBC Special Correspondent for Rock Center, joins us to talk about his new report on Super PACs. It will air in full tonight on NBC’s “Rock Center with Brian Williams.” Koppel reports on the mega-money machines responsible for the attack ads flooding the airwaves ahead of Saturday’s primary.

 

Andrew Sullivan, Editor of The Dish and Newsweek Columnist and self-proclaimed “conservative-minded independent” writes this week about “How Obama’s Long Game Will Outsmart His Critics.” His defense of the President’s record is one the campaign could get behind. He joins us tonight.
