Barbara Boxer led U.S. lawmakers in calling for an investigation into the News Corp hacking scandal, and today the FBI’s New York Office opened an investigation into whether Murdoch’s organization violated U.S. law. And in Britain, Murdoch and his son are due to meet with a Commons committee investigating the hacking next week. Sen. Boxer joins us tonight, and msnbc’s own Martin Bashir will have the latest.
