#BIGPICTURE: Honoring women's history month, all month long

01:16

Today we're honoring a talented female photographer, who captured this touching photo of Sudan -- the last male northern white rhino in the world. Ami Vitale of the National Geographic captured his final moments, in the comfort of his caretaker, Joseph. Sudan's death leaves his species at serious risk of extinction. Ami says, if there is meaning in Sudan's passing, it's that all hope is not lost -- she says this can be our wake up call. Photographer: Ami Vitale, National Geographic Creative.
