In a letter to House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler, the White House counsel sharply attacked the Democrats’ impeachment process as “completely baseless” and said House Democrats had “violated basic principles of due process and fundamental fairness.” It did not explicitly answer whether the White House would take part in the Judiciary Committee hearing on Monday.Dec. 6, 2019
