The buzz-word surrounding fiscal cliff negotiations is “stalemate,” with Speaker Boehner expected to put the House Republicans’ Plan B on the floor for a vote Thursday. The Speaker will take questions from Capitol Hill in the afternoon.

The tragedy at Sandy Hook elementary is dominating the opinion pages: Today New York Sen.
