WATCH: ‘We’re prepared to do the job,’ says Lugar


Former Sen. Dick Lugar, co-author of the post-Cold War arms reduction agreement–the Nunn-Lugar Act–believes the United States should be tapped to go in and help remove Syria’s chemical weapons.

“We’re prepared in the United States to do the job,” he told Andrea Mitchell Friday. “We’ve got mobile equipment that can move out and that can destroy as much as 25 tons of chemical weapons a day on sight.”
