Andrea Mitchell hosted msnbc's fourth in a series of Google+ Hangouts On Air discussing the Supreme Court's impending decisions on the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) and Proposition 8.

Mitchell was joined by author and "It Gets Better" campaign founder Dan Savage; actor and director Tate Donovan; celebrity photographer and "NOH8" campaign founder Adam Bouska; actor and Tony-nominated composer Andrew Lippa; and the first gay couple to get engaged at the White House, Matthew Phelps and Ben Schock. The panel discussed how American attitudes toward the LGBT community have shifted over the years, and the influence the entertainment industry has had on affecting opinion.
