msnbc's Andrea Mitchell spoke with Sirius XM's Chris "Mad Dog" Russo about the firestorm hitting Rutgers University Wednesday after a video aired on ESPN of head basketball coach Mike Rice hurling basketballs and homophobic slurs at his players. School officials admit that Rutgers knew about the abuse months ago.

Athletic Director Tim Pernetti claimed responsibility for keeping Rice at his post after seeing the video last November, saying, "Dismissal and corrective action were debated in December and I thought it was in the best interest of everyone to rehabilitate, but I was wrong. Moving forward, I will work to regain the trust of the Rutgers community."
