How basketball became a metaphor for an economically depressed town
About 85 miles south of Indianapolis, the rural town of Medora, grabbed national attention for its winless high school basketball record and its economic downturn. The town also drew the attention of Andrew Cohn and Davy Rothbart who produced a documentary on its struggles.
