All In Agenda: The GOP's scandal-chasing

All In Agenda for April 9, 2014

1. A New Jersey judge today denied a request by the legislative committee investigating the "bridgegate" scandal that would have forced Bridget Anne Kelly and Bill Stepien to turn over documents. It's a step back for the investigative process, with less information flowing to the committee. But how much of a set-back? Ari Melber gets the scoop from Brian Murphy, former managing editor of PoliticsNJ.com and Paul Butler, a former federal prosecutor with the U.S. Department of Justice.

2. Next up: The seemingly constant GOP scandal-chasing, from Bengahzi to 'Fast and Furious' (and beyond). Rep. Barney Frank weighs in.

3. Then: Marking the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act, signed by President Lyndon Johnson in 1964, with an event that's bringing together all the living U.S. presidents. We've got the story with Clifford Alexander, the first African-American Secretary of the Army.

4. And on that note: A look at the legacy of a former president, the artist formerly known as Bush. We'll discuss with former Pennsylvania Governor Dick Thornburgh.
