All In Agenda: All In America - Gun edition

All In Agenda for May 22, 2014.

1. More than two weeks after we aired our special "All In America" report on the Armatix smart gun, we have yet to get a response from the NRA. Tonight, we're bringing you the story of how the NRA is pre-empting local gun laws. Richard Feldman, a former Lobbyist for the NRA and Founder and President of the Independent Firearms Owners Association, and Michael Waldman, President of the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU School of Law and author of The Second Amendment: A Biography are here to discuss.

2. Next up: What happens when more than a thousand workers and activists called on McDonald's shareholders to raise the minimum wage to $15 dollars an hour? Chris interviews Jessica Davis, a McDonald's worker and Fight for Fifteen activist who was arrested yesterday at McDonald's corporate headquarters.

3. Plus: A fascinating look at race in this country after more than 10 million Americans changed their race or ethnicity on Census forms in the last decade, mostly from "some other race" to "white." Dr. Ben Carson, Professor Emeritus of Neurosurgery at John Hopkins University and Jose Diaz-Balart, co-anchor of Telemundo's Noticiero Telemundo join our discussion on race.
