1. Two Brooklyn-based designers were so frustrated by the Senate's inability to pass gun control legislation that they decided to create theydontworkforyou.org. The site is an interactive slideshow showing the faces of gun violence side-by-side with the 45 senators who voted against the background checks bill. Hat tip to viewer John Fogarty for bringing this to our attention.
2. Boston Magazine's may cover was released in a tweet earlier today and the image went viral. Sneakers donated by Boston marathon runners are formed into the shape of a heart. The simplicity and power of the image moved us deeply. Check out the issue to read interviews of those sneaker donors.

3. The Saudi men have been ejected from Saudi Arabia for being too hot. Well, technically they were deported after some scandalous photos circulating around the internet of the men. Either way it must be nice to be too sexy for your country.
